Reply CRTphosphor | April 6, 2014 at 4:49 PM This 64b driver is tremendously useful - well done! I have now uninstalled the SCSI Storage Controllers as the "Other Device" is listed as working. I xferred the SCSI controller with the cable and terminator as well as initialized drive from the working config to the A8N Sli Deluxe and still nothing. Correspondingly, the following section exists immediately after the above heading in both of these .inf files but not in the djsvs.inf file: ;************************************************************* ;These addreg sections should be used for non-SCSI

Because of all the obstacles I encountered with the 2930U2 card, I may just give up on it after trying a few more things. Overview SCSI, SATA, and SAS Cards, Host Adapters and AIC Chips Where to find drivers for Adaptec SCSI host adapters? Adaptec 2940uw Windows 7 64 Bit Driver I started with "Adaptec_Aic_78xx" driver from the Adaptec site that I placed in the "Driver Store" which installed in the "Device Manager" but wouldn't work (code 10).

Now install your driver as detailed above for Windows 7.With this information you should be able to get the SCSI host adapters AHA-2930CU, AHA-2940/2940W, AHA-2940AU, AHA-2940U/UW, AHA-2940U/UW/D, AHA-3940U/UW/UWD, AHA-3940U/UW, AHA-2944UW, AHA-3944U/UWD, There's an 'Install ASPI' step in the 'Missing Scanner' dialog, but exploration of this seems to lead back to Adaptec. Right click this entry and select "Update Driver Software". this contact form look at "bozoclown47" links on media fire...

If the system then asks for the driver, direct it to the location of the AIC-7870 emulated driver. I have looked at my SCSI card and it is actualy listed as an AVA-2902E host adapter but the files on the installation CD do not list that model at all, on next windows , u should see 5 menu in blue... Considering that I have a 2902 card that does work with 64-bit Windows 7 (and probably Windows 10 as well), I'll probably keep this setup and stop using the old PC.
